Bob’s Bob-O-Pedic

“Bob’s Bob-O-Pedic, from your head down to your feet, it feels like no mattress you’ve felt befooooore!”

Driven by custom-built puppets, mattresses floating in the clouds, and an oh-so-catchy jingle, the national Bob-O-Pedic campaign aimed to accomplish one thing: show customers that Bob’s Discount Furniture’s proprietary line of Bob-O-Pedic mattresses are so comfy that you are quite literally transported to a whole new world … a “Comfy World,” if you will.
As the Art Director on Bob’s Discount Furniture’s first-ever 360-degree campaign, I spearheaded the look-and-feel for not only the print and digital portion of the campaign, but also puppet fabrication, character design (including a talking cloud, dancing box, and wiggling gummy bear), wardrobe styling, and set design.
The Bob-O-Pedic campaign launched in February 2020 with national TV spots, OOH advertising, e-blasts, social-media, in-store signage, and a custom landing page, resulting in record-breaking sales during the first week of its country-wide launch.
